Location Location Location

I started up Google Earth for the first time in a while today. The newest addition is the ability to see what space looks like from any location on Earth, which is pretty cool. So of course, the first place I go to is our new house. The space stuff was boss, but I made an even better discovery:

We're two minutes away from a clown school! Why the hell am I going to boring old real school?

Also note that London's representation on Google Earth still isn't the greatest. It's a blurry mess, and I didn't have to censor my road because it's not even labeled. Come on, I want 3D models of nearby buildings so that I never have to leave the house again.

We found our house on Googel Earth awhile back. The picture was taken three different colors of paint ago, so that clown school might not even be open anymore.

If I was in clown school, I would be the sad clown and drop out.

The cars in the parking lot should have given it away.

Clown school?! Waitaminute! They actually TRAIN clowns to be creepy and terrifying?!?

That damned Poltergeist movie turned an entire generation of kids against clowns...clowns and Craig T. Nelson. (Although I suspect John Wayne Gacy may have had a little something to do with it also!)

I just realized that you live in London Ontario. Don't know why that never clicked before. I live across Lake Erie from you in Cleveland. On clear days, I sometimes get London radio stations in my Jeep.

Kind of cool. I often forget that I live 30 or so miles from a foreign country...

Limpy: So true. From what I remember, it's actually a gas station there. So unless they have Fight Club style clown schooling the back lot at night, it's no longer there.

Nolff: I would be the clown from It and turn into a giant spider.

Salem: With so many smart cars around, it's hard to tell nowadays.

Zombie: It's true. Whenever a rerun of "Coach" comes on, I weep like a little girl.

That's cool that you're so close. Sorry to subject you to London's radio stations (not that they're horrible...they're pretty much exactly the same as the set of stations in every other city in the U.S. and Canada).

No one needs a school for that. Just use a pic of Tammy Faye from the 80's (R.I.P.) and then scare the shit out of kids.

Not so. I sometimes think our (Toronto) radio stations are not-so-good... until I leave town.

Jason: Wait...that chick wasn't a professionally trained clown?

Sarah: You're not a real school!

Mdm: Nice. I hope the Google truck comes around here someday, so I can goatse them.

Salem: I usually find at least one good station anywhere I travel. You can always fall back on "Bob FM", "Jack FM", "Tom FM", or whatever, which are all clones of each other.
