Tweeting With the Stars, Volume 5: Deepak Chopra, Volume 2

This is hardly worth mentioning, since me and Deepak are already good buddies, but I thought this exchange was interesting.

A few days ago, Deepak tweeted:

To which I replied:

And he replied:

Which is still mostly meaningless (as usual), but at least he admitted his mistake.

I was somewhat kind to Chopra in my last post about him. But after following him on Twitter for a while and seeing him getting clobbered in debates with smart people, I've come to the conclusion that he is either deliberately misleading people, or just really clueless and deluded. In either case, he shouldn't be getting rich by taking buttloads of money from people.

But he's soooooo wise. Oprah says so.

I saw him on The Colbert Report, and he was talking about having been a drunk or drug addict. Those recoverings always make the greatest scam artists.

This is the awesome-est thing you have ever done! I can't stand Chopra for the same reasons. He's preaching spiritual crap and taking advantage of people. Did you catch the tweets about him causing the earthquake a few months ago with his "meditation"? Um, if thats a joke dude, people died, it' not funny. If it's not a joke, you're even crazier then I thought.

Chopra fills me with rage. My mom takes him seriously. Oprah also fills me with rage. It's probably her fault my mom takes him seriously.

Candice: I hear you, my brother argued with me for 3 hours about Chopra last time I was home.

And Oprah is the devil spawn.

Don't even get me started on Oprah. She's done immeasurable harm to her viewers' well-being and health. I hope Chopra meditates Oprah out of existence.
